I am a graduate of the Phoenix-based Roberto-Venn School of Luthiery (1996). After years of building, modifying, and repairing guitars while working as a woodworker and artisan baker, I have made the decision to pursue luthiery as my sole livelihood with the creation of Rukavina Guitars.

Living in Missoula, Montana, I build self-designed semi-hollow and solid body electric guitars. I build solo from my in-home workshop, and am interested in making tuneful guitars that compliment the natural charm and beauty of quality woods. It's not uncommon that the wood works the woodworker; letting grain lines & wood figure suggest profile lines, carving approaches, or inlay ideas.

I've been a guitar player for about 17 years now, and I rarley go a day without grabbing my guitar. I also took up playing the drum kit a few years ago, and I do a little home recording when I find the time.
